About Doulton

We’ve come a long way, but we’re still the same company founded in London, back in the 1820s by John Doulton (father of Henry Doulton).

OUR VISION

Is the same today as it was 200 years ago. To provide safe, fresh, great-tasting drinking water to everyone who needs it.

Our water filters are used in millions of homes all over the world to cleanse drinking water, keeping people from over 140 countries safe and well every day.

OUR CERAMIC FILTERS

Produce clear, great-tasting water, straight from your kitchen tap or on the go.

Doulton filtered water keeps all health-giving minerals.

Our products are certified by independent laboratories including the NSF to filter bacteria, particulates, turbidity, cysts, chlorine, lead and many other contaminants; and contain silver to impede bacterial growth.

DID YOU KNOW

Unlike other systems, we don’t need to be plugged in to work.

Our ceramic filters are so earth-friendly that when you replace one after around 6 months, you can even compost the old one. The filter's natural earth help regulate your compost’s water absorption.

The Doulton Story

Our water filters harness the power of ceramics - one of the oldest and most effective methods of water filtration.

It was in 1826, that Henry Doulton invented the concept of the contemporary ceramic candle water filter. He discovered that filtering water through porous ceramic would prevent people from falling ill due to cholera and other waterborne diseases.

Doulton® continues to build on his life work, having achieved numerous awards and international accreditations for sustained commitment to innovation, ensuring that the water you and your family drink is clean, tasty and free from harmful contaminants.
